"Integrated Battery Charging and Power Delivery Implementations"

The popularity of the different portable consumer devices over the last decade has introduced new requirements in terms of usage time, form factor, environmental friendliness and functionality. Lithium-based rechargeable batteries have emerged as the power source of choice to address these requirements – they offer the highest energy density, no memory effect, better environmental attributes and a reduced self-discharge rate.

"An Item a Day of Enduring Insignificance"

On September 4, 1997, the very last Ford Thunderbird rolled off the assembly line in Lorain, Ohio. Originally conceived as Ford's answer to the Corvette, the Thunderbird enjoyed an illustrious place among American cars. It was promoted as a "personal" car, rather than a sports car, so it never had to compete against the imports that dominated the sports car market.
