ZMDI Announces Hiring of Ed Lam as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Based in the US

ZMD AG (ZMDI) announced the hiring of Edward Lam as the new Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, based in Milpitas, California. As a global supplier of analog and mixed-signal solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, information technology and consumer applications, ZMDI clearly has made a commitment to growth in the U.S. with the hiring of Mr. Lam.

"Ed brings 27 years of analog experience from companies such as National Semiconductor, Sipex, Exar and Analogic Tech and will lead ZMDI’s corporate activities in product marketing and business development. Mr. Lam’s industry knowledge and experience in all facets of the analog business, including manufacturing, test, product marketing and strategy development, will enable him to be an exceptional resource to ZMDI and its customers.

Mr. Lam’s new position fits well with ZMDI’s other recent investments in the United States including:

-- The opening of three additional sales offices in Milpitas, California; Phoenix, Arizona; and Boston, Massachusetts.
