Emerson Network Power Intros Liebert GXT2 500 UPS

Emerson Network Power introduced the GXT2-500 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) by Liebert Corp. (Columbus, OH) that extends the GXT family of online UPSs down to 500 VA, and is designed for applications with low power requirements, but high criticality such as gateway routers, firewalls or VPN concentrators in IP telephony applications.

The GXT2-500 UPS offers four 5-15 R output receptacles and comes in a flexible 2U rack-mount/tower configuration. It features 28 minutes of battery run time at full load, which can be expanded by adding battery cabinets that increase run time by more than one hour per cabinet. With the introduction of the Liebert GXT2-500, the GXT family of online UPSs now provides a wide range of power protection ranging from 500 VA to 10,000 VA.
