IsoSense Intros 9001 family of Overcurrent Detectors

February 28, 1999 by Jeff Shepard

IsoSense Inc. (Cave Creek, AZ) recently introduced the 9001 family of overcurrent detectors (OCD). These hall-effect type current sensors are uniquely designed using IsoSense's latest OCD technology.

The OCD's detect over current conditions and force a digital output low in less than 2mS. They are intended to protect power transistors against failure caused by over currents in power conversion circuits. Presently, there are 5 devices in the family, all in the same package size, with trip currents of 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150 amps.

The 9001 family OCD's are priced from $3.60 in quantities of 10,000.
