CAP-XX Enters LOI Agreement With Murata

CAP-XX announced that it has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Murata Manufacturing Corp. of Japan (Murata). Murata specializes in the development, manufacture and supply of electronic components for a broad spectrum of industries, including the mobile hand-set industry.

CAP-XX and Murata state that they will establish a comprehensive partnership to provide high performance supercapacitors to the mobile hand-set industry and for other applications. In this partnership, Murata will focus on mass production, sales & marketing. In parallel CAP-XX and Murata will jointly develop next generation products with CAP-XX leading the material development.

CAP-XX states that the partnership will enable it to meet customers’ requirements such as quality, volume and product specifications. Under the terms of the license, CAP-XX will receive licence fees and a royalty based on the volume of sales of supercapacitors.
