Magnetek Introduces New Solar Inverter

Power Channels: Renewable Energy

Magnetek, Inc. announced the introduction of their E-Force Solar Inverter for grid-tied photovoltaic systems. The E-Force Solar is specifically designed for commercial and utility-scale solar applications such as big box retailers, office buildings, industrial facilities, and ground-mount installations.

E-Force Solar is available in both 500 kW and 1 MW models and it is based on Magnetek’s E-Force Wind Inverter platform, which has over 150 MW installed in the U.S. The E-Force inverter offers high power density in a compact size for application flexibility and its rugged design insures maximum reliability.

"The introduction of the E-Force Solar Inverter continues Magnetek’s focus on serving the power inverter needs of the commercial and utility scale solar and wind marketplace," said Ross Smith, Vice President of Magnetek’s Renewable Energy business. "The E-Force Inverter’s field-proven design increases the electrical power that is available from large solar arrays, reduces the time and cost of installation, and assures a long service life."
