Imprint Energy Announces Strategic Investment from IQT

Imprint Energy, Inc. announced today a strategic investment and technology development agreement with In-Q-Tel (IQT), the independent strategic investment firm that identifies innovative technology solutions to support the missions of the U.S. Intelligence Community. Through this strategic partnership, Imprint Energy aims to expand the development of its advanced battery technology and characterize its performance for multiple applications.Imprint Energy's proprietary Zinc Poly™ battery technology offers a compelling alternative to lithium ion polymer battery technology and advances the state of the art in batteries for small portable electronics. The company's electrochemistry breakthroughs remove the longstanding limitations on the rechargeability of zinc-based batteries while generating significant volumetric energy density, form factor, safety, cost, and processing advantages versus other rechargeable battery chemistries.

Imprint Energy, Inc. is an advanced battery technology company developing its proprietary Zinc Poly batteries for small portable electronics markets, including mobile accessories, compact wireless devices, wearable technology, health and fitness monitoring, and medical devices.
