Arrow Electronics Powers at electronica 2012
electronica 2012 Preview
Arrow Electronics, Inc. announced details of its participation at electronica 2012. The exhibition will take place in Munich, Germany on November 13-16. As the premier full-service provider in the electronics industry, Arrow Electronics will be dedicating its show presence (Hall 4, Booth 225) to solutions for vertical technology markets and to its service offerings that cover every stage of the product lifecycle.

Arrow will bring dedicated teams of experts to electronica with in-depth experience in the automotive, LED lighting, aerospace/defence, industrial automation, smart energy and power solutions markets. During what promises to be a well-attended show, Arrow will also present its services portfolio spanning the entire product lifecycle, from design and production through to end-of-life solutions.

Energy Efficiency with Class D Amplifier Modules
Class-D switching amplifiers are helping audio designers create personal multimedia devices and home audio/visual systems that demonstrate how compact and stylish equipment can also deliver high sound quality and high audio output power. The key to this breakthrough, providing freedom from the large and bulky boxes housing traditional audio products, lies in the class-D amplifier’s high energy efficiency, which is typically around 90%. This allows designers to reduce or eliminate heatsinks as well as using smaller-sized PCBs and smaller components such as transformers, connectors and power supplies.
