TDI Acquires Industrial Battery Operation

Technology Dynamics, Inc. (TDI) has announced the acquisition of the assets, operation and IP of Ansmann USA Corp. industrial division. The new company is now named Nova Battery Systems (NBS) which continues to reside in its current address at 10 Washington Ave., Fairfield NJ 07004. Terms of the acquisition were not announced. Ansmann’s European operations are not part of the acquisition.

NBS specializes in battery pack design and the manufacturing of industrial and medical battery packs, custom battery chargers and standard models. The company will become a hub for all battery related operations for Technology Dynamics and its other divisions, Nova Electric, Mid- Eastern Industries, and Electronic Integration Technology.

Technology Dynamics, Inc. and its various divisions specialize in power conversion products of all types, with a strong presence in military applications. For the last 3 years, the Nova Electric Division of TDI has been delivering a wide range of UPS units equipped with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries. The addition of the NBS division to the TDI umbrella of companies expands the battery expertise and capability to assemble Li Ion, LFP, NiH and other types/chemistries of batteries.
