Wall Industries, Inc. has recently introduced two series of wall mount chargers with USB Type C inlets. As opposed to the standard USB Type A with 4 pins, USB Type C chargers offer more pins in a smaller size than the current industry standard. USB Type C chargers are useful in a several applications, namely computer and phone charging.
The two new series, the WMUSB30 and WMUSB45 that Wall has just introduced are wall mount supplies with a USA plug on one side and an USB Type C inlet on the opposing side. Both a 30-Watt model and a 45-Watt model are available with output voltages of 5V, 9V, 15V, and 20V in each series. Each of these models features high efficiency, RoHS compliance, and over power, over voltage, over current, and short circuit protection.
The WMUSB30 series of ac-dc USB type C power supplies offers up to 30 Watts of output power in a compact 2.20†x 1.89†x 1.13†package. This series consists of single output models with a wide input voltage range of 90- to 264-Vac. Each model in this series has over power, over current, over voltage, and short circuit protection, is RoHS compliant, and has been burn-in tested. This series meets FCC part 15 class B EMI standards and has UL60950 safety approvals.
The WMUSB45 series of ac-dc USB Type C supplies offers 45 Watts of output power in a compact 2.42†x 2†x 1.16†package. This series consists of single output models with a wide input voltage range of 90- 264-Vac and high efficiency. Each model in this series offers over power, over current, over voltage, and short circuit protection, is RoHS compliant, and meets UL60950 safety standard. This series has been burn in tested.
