International Rectifier Adds Two Devices to GBPC Series of Rectifiers

June 11, 2000 by Jeff Shepard

International Rectifier (El Segundo, CA) has made available two new devices in a series of compact single-phase bridge rectifiers. The 25A GBPC25 and the 35A GBPC35 bridges combine four rectifier diodes into a single full-wave bridge rectifier for high-current power-supply input circuits. The company claims that the GBPC Series bridge rectifiers are the most popular devices for applications such as main power input rectification for dc-operated motors and dc power supplies.

The GBPC25 and GBPC35 bridge rectifiers are rated up to 1,200V, and are made with glass-passivated diode chips to ensure maximum high-temperature, reverse-blocking stability. They have industry-standard pin-outs and universal three-way terminals to facilitate fast connection, board mounting and soldering. A wire lead version is also available. The terminals are suitable for high-temperature soldering up to 260 degrees C for easy point-to-point or PC board construction.

Samples and production quantities are available immediately. Pricing is $2.40 each in 100-lot quantities.
